THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED J.C. Irish Sports Pub Restaurant Review:

J.C. Irish Sports Pub’s décor reflects the interests --- business, theater and horse racing --- of its namesake, an Irish bon vivant who also loves Irish pubs. Antiques, etched glass, wood and stone that replicate Ireland’s pubs adorn the authentic eatery, which was built outside Dublin by the renowned Irish Pub Company and assembled here. The front room is designed around the betting shop where J.C.'s grandfather held court; the central area is patterned after Fairyhouse Racetrack, home of the Irish Derby. The pub has many nooks and alcoves for cozier dining. Served all day, the Irish breakfast medley features fried eggs, sausage, black pudding, grilled tomatoes, a fried potato cake, baked beans and soda bread. Tuesdays feature all-you-can-eat fish ‘n’ chips. The beef-and-Guinness pie --- baked with mushrooms and vegetables and topped with puff pastry --- is a winner, as is the shepherd's pie. Traditional corned beef and cabbage comes with sautéed cabbage and bacon, mashed potatoes and creamy parsley sauce. Sticky toffee pudding over plum cake is finished with whipped cream. Complementing the cuisine are live Irish music Friday and Saturday evenings, Irish beers, Irish whiskeys, malts and classic Irish coffees.
