Les Tantes Jeanne Restaurant Review:

Tucked away on a little street of the Butte Montmartre, this convivial bistro is decked out with wooden tables, red banquettes, tiles on the floor and a bar in the midst of a large dining room. Chalk-written suggestions on a slate represent good value. Dishes such as tête de veau and scallops carpaccio stand out thanks to the use of good products and traditional recipes. But the most tantalizing items on the menu are the meats: Black Angus and Wagyu beef served as filet, sirloin or rib steak and with three different sauces, enhanced with blue cheese, ceps and pepper. Finish with a chocolate moelleux. Interesting wine list with a hundred offerings ranging from inexpensive bottles to a Château Latour.
