Papaya King Restaurant Review:
As famous for frankfurters as it is for fresh fruit drinks, this neighborhood fixture has been serving up dogs laden with chili, sauerkraut, onions and relish since 1932. Oh, and the prices can't be beat, either. There's just a stand-up counter and not much room to maneuver, but who could argue with a hot dog place that has a photograph of Julia Child on the wall? Also located at 3 St. Marks Place, 646-692-8482, and 6 Flatbush Ave., Brooklyn.
