Located in an upscale shopping center, Piatti offers rustic, seasonal cooking. Modeled after the traditional Italian trattoria, the ambience is refined yet welcoming and reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside with sandstone and terra cotta. Starters include beef carpaccio with arugula and mint, and pork and beef meatballs with fresh-pulled mozzarella. Pappardelle with bolognese and butternut squash ravioli are among the pastas, while mains include wild salmon with bacon and apple, a braised short rib with broccolini and blue cheese horseradish, and a wood-fired pork chop with polenta. For dessert, try the olive oil cake with strawberries or the banana-chocolate bread pudding.
