Dining room at Piatti, Sacramento, CARustic cuisine and a warm atmosphere are hallmarks of this Italian chain, modeled on the traditional Italian trattoria. The interior is designed with sandstone and terracotta, reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside. The menu focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Starters include steamed mussels, ahi with Meyer lemon, and veal sweetbreads with house-made pancetta. Pastas include strozzapretti with chicken and prosciutto meatballs and ricotta gnocchi with roasted chicken, while mains include braised short ribs and pork chop with melted leek potato gratin.
