Reserve Cut Restaurant Review:

Set on the second floor of The Setai Wall Street, this kosher steakhouse is owned by a family that also runs a butcher shop. Not a bad pedigree. And when you stick to steak, you can eat very well here. Half of the menu is dominated by sushi rolls; the other half is made up of starters, sides, and all manner of meat. Start with the dense merguez sausage and the Wagyu beef sliders, the cherry tomato chutney adding a nice sweet tone to the latter dish. When it comes to steak, the massive côte de boeuf is a good bet. It’s slightly charred on the outside and mushy (in a good way) on the inside. Even better, though, is the restaurant’s signature (and namesake) reserve cut, which is boneless and smaller than some of its brethren. Pair it with a deep red from the lengthy wine list.
