Axios Estiatorio Restaurant Review

: Inside the deep-blue setting of this convivial Greek restaurant, reminiscent of the Mediterranean coastline, Greek music wafts from the speakers, while the kitchen turns out authentic, artful dishes that feed appreciative crowds. Diners can't get enough of the saganaki, the spanakopita and the souvlaki, all of which share space on the extensive menu with Greek specialties, such as the slow-roasted lamb shank plated with garlic-and-feta mashed potatoes. Solicitous service and a notable wine list, liberally dotted with certified organic and biodynamic bottlings from Greece and Italy, just add to the memorable experience that ends on a high note, thanks to the lovely fig tart finished with Greek yogurt.
