Azul Restaurant Lounge Restaurant Review: With lovely up-close views of the Catalina Mountains during the day and a warm, romantic setting at night, Azul will change your definition of hotel dining. And although it serves three meals a day, it is at lunch and dinner where Azul shines. Executive chef Serge Delage brings his classical training and adds a new-world twist. The hothouse tomato salad combines buffalo mozzarella, mixed olives and a balsamic reduction. Dijon-crusted rack of lamb brings all the flavors of Provence together in a most charming way. And you can’t go wrong with the herb-seared Atlantic salmon. Don’t forget sides such as the garlic-infused assorted field mushrooms and chipotle mac ‘n’ cheese. Some of these same items are available at lunch, but we suggest the Azul burger or the lamb gyro at midday.
