Hip and lively Baang Café & Bar features an Asian-fusion menu with dishes best tackled family-style. Baang chicken salad combines shredded chicken breast, Chinese lettuce and vermicelli noodles tossed in a sesame vinaigrette, and the Thai crab cake pairs with roasted pineapple and a spicy rémoulade. For a taste of classical Chinese, try the grilled Shanghai beef accompanied by matchstick potatoes and flavored with chili oil, cilantro and soy sauce. Among entrées are the ginger-glazed jumbo shrimp atop roasted wild mushroom salad, and smoked pork tenderloin, vegetable spring rolls and pineapple chutney. Afterwards, sink your spoon into a ginger ice cream sandwich with poached apricots and caramel drizzle. The wine list, with crisp Sauvignon Blancs from vineyards like Caymus and Cakebread Cellars and fruit-forward Pinot Noirs from La Crema and Au Bon Climat, was chosen to complement Asian flavors.
