THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Baci Restaurant & Wine Bar Restaurant Review

: It’s a surprise to find high-profile chef Roberto Donna peeking out of the kitchen here in this strip mall eatery. Despite its off-the-beaten-path location, Baci gets robust crowds even at lunchtime, when it seems folks come to settle business deals, chat with friends, or relax with a bottle of wine over a plate of fresh pasta. Midday, you’ll find even the appetizer portions ample for solo eating, and just enough to share for two. Of these, the eggplant Parmigiana and the crispy calamari are the best bets. As you sort through main course options, consider one of the special sandwiches on homemade ciabatta, such as the braised pork shoulder or the sausage-and-pepper combo. Entrées at lunch and dinner span the usual pasta, seafood and meat-poultry options. Desserts, on the other hand, star such favorites as the Italian ricotta cheesecake and panna cotta. With its wine, salumi, and cheese menus and wine flights, Baci may be the ideal place for after-hours libations.
