This address on Michigan Avenue might seem like an unlikely location for a casual place, but there’s a reason it stuck. Proof comes in the “hacked” honey-lime vinaigrette chicken salad with peanut sauce and memorable rotisserie chicken, served with green rice. Also better-than-average is the house-ground burger. You’ll find crowd-pleasing dishes like prime rib, barbecue salmon with red beans, and escabeche and ribs, too. Do keep an eye out for the pies, which are solid.
