| Hand-painted murals of Thailand's beaches and historic ruins decorate the walls of this fanciful restaurant run by the Ouneklap family. You’ll find a wide array of appetizers, salads, soups, curries, noodles and desserts. Vegetarians can choose from more than a dozen different dishes. Sweetheart Wings---deep-fried chicken wings with fresh basil in a sweet-savory-garlicky sauce---are irresistible. Golden Bags are unusual---crispy fried pouches of spiced mashed potato and shrimp wrapped in wonton skins tied with scallions. Try the veggie basil stir-fry with tofu in a house-made garlic-basil sauce as well as the green coconut curry with fresh salmon and assorted vegetables. The fresh mango with sticky rice is a must-try because it’s made with a rich purple rice, is loaded with coconut flavor, and is topped with good quality coconut ice cream. |
