THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bar Amalfi Restaurant Review: Chef-owner Al Paris switched up his Asian fusion concept Mantra, opting instead for the always crowd-pleasing fresh, casual Italian. The price is right and Paris is right at home with his Italian roots. A few options might be mussels cinzano (garlic, sweet vermouth, leek, tomatoes, parsley) and salmon capri (in a puttanesca sauce with pignoli nuts) in addition to classics like chicken Parmesan and eggplant Parmigiana. A dozen wines are offered by the glass. Strawberry tiramisu and homemade cannoli are offered for dessert.
