THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED This cozy eatery across from Peñasquitos Lagoon and Torrey Pines State Park has a staff that honors tradition, providing a menu of tasty Italian classics, many of them unfamiliar in these parts, and smooth, friendly service that invites you to linger as long as you like. And we do like to linger, especially over a plate of plump, pot-bellied ravioli in fragrant pesto, or over the unusual fettuccine Natascha dressed with caviar, smoked tuna, pink peppers and a sauve marina-and-cream sauce. We also favor the brodetto, a shellfish casserole steamed in garlic-scented white wine.
