 You’d expect the menu in this stylish spot to hit the mark on all the classics, so we like to branch out a bit, especially when there are specials such as hearty oxtail soup or jungle curry with butternut squash. To combine flavor and festive presentation, it’s fun to order up the pineapple fried rice served in a half pineapple “boat,” and even the sizzling beef flambé. This is one place where the vegetarian options aren’t an afterthought. Favorites include the sweet and spicy chili basil stir-fry with tofu, and the param peanut curry with mixed vegetables. Desserts are typical, but the wine list reflects the restaurant’s location in the heart of a wine region, and you can also get drafts of Widmer wheat, Firestone Pale and even Guinness.
