The Bayou Restaurant Review: A raucous bar scene, including lots of sports on TV, and live music most weekends make this a Main Street hot-spot for the twentysomething crowd. Upstairs, where the atmosphere is calmer, you can sample pub grub such as build-your-own burgers, wings and Creole chili along with a decent gumbo and Cajun-spiced fries and chicken tenders. An upstairs bar, the Blue Room, features plasma TVs and is an ideal place for noshing. Drink and beer specials abound.
