 Bella Napoli Restaurant Review: Seared pizza crusts topped with Mediterranean delicacies are the specialty at Bella Napoli, a cozy haunt near Music Row. A wood-burning brick oven bakes discs of dough sizzling hot with char marks around the rim. Try the Parma, loaded with generous helpings of tangy, thin-sliced prosciutto balanced against peppery arugula and sweet cherry tomatoes. The margherita comes with anchovies to suit classic tastes, and the salsiccia is topped with broccoli rabe, sausage and garlic. You can also choose from a list of several salads and pasta dishes. The short and simple wine list changes often. On some nights you’ll encounter a jazz combo or something similarly atmospheric, and dining outside in the courtyard under the festive lights is a delight. Desserts include cannoli and tiramisu, but there’s also a Nutella pizza calling your name. |
