There aren't many choices for finer dining in the resort town of North Conway, but Bellini's is one of the few that's also good for families and a comfort-food fix. After a walk by the impressive pastry case--and you will pass it as they guide you to your seat---order dishes like marinara with sweet Italian sausage or braciola, thin slices of beef rolled around gooey cheese and spicy stuffing, to share. Veal and steak dishes, especially the veal baked with ham and eggplant, are a hearty end to a day of hiking or other outdoor activities. Desserts take the stage at the café with specialty cookies, house-made gelato and a creamy layered chocolate mousse, so you'll want to save room.
