| In a town full of destination restaurants, Benton’s is noted for its panoramic view of Kansas City---not to mention its 100-item Sunday brunch. The menu features both traditional steakhouse items plus Asian-infused appetizers like shrimp dumplings and crab Rangoon. But its focus is beef, from the six-ounce filet of tenderloin to a whopping 22-ounce T-bone. The fish selection ranges from salmon to swordfish to lobster tails. Professional service and a well-crafted wine list make a dinner here a complete package. Be sure to check out the $5 martini specials on Thursday evening.
