benugo bar & kitchen Restaurant Review:
Brothers Ben and Hugo Warner opened their first up-market sandwich bar in Clerkenwell. They’ve since expanded to ten outposts and operate cafés in venues like the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Museum of Childhood. But benugo bar & kitchen was the first in the chain to be a proper bar-restaurant. Dishes run from good snacks, cheese and charcuterie plates to soup of the day, steaks, pan-fried fish and pastas. Located in the National Film Theatre building, it buzzes at all hours. It makes a good, and very popular, meeting place in the South Bank Centre.
