Berlin Inn Restaurant & Bakery Restaurant Review: There's nothing frivolous about the solid, no-nonsense comfort food served at Berlin Inn. The kitchen dishes up large portions of German favorites such as fondue, schnitzel, beef rouladen, spätzle and potato pancakes. Contemporary dietary concerns get due respect with a wide choice of gluten-free and vegetarian options, plus healthful offsets such as baked kale salad. But if you're gluten tolerant, do not skip the breads, cakes and pastries from the adjoining German bakery. The garden area is dog-friendly and offers a notable selection of German beer and wine. If you arrive for brunch, try the puffy, bowl-size German pancakes or hearty schnitzel and eggs. |
