Bice Ristorante Restaurant Review: The restaurant chain originated with Beatrice "Bice" Ruggeri's Italian trattoria, circa 1926, and today spans the world from Los Angeles to Sao Paulo and from Tokyo to Montréal. It’s a trendy place and a popular spot for the deep-pocketed glitzy crowd. As a member of the Urban Kitchen group it is a showcase of striking interior design with an artful décor. When it comes to the food, expect nothing but what Momma would cook, but know it will be served by a glamorous staff and presented in imaginative style. The kitchen takes pride in using a lot of fresh produce and seafood along with pasta staples. One hot plate is the grilled shrimp served on top of lobster risotto. Appetizers are a mix of Mediterranean delights; don't miss out on the duck prosciutto with apricot vinaigrette. In summer, the patio "Il Giardino" is the place to be --- and be seen. |
