The restaurant chain originated with Beatrice "Bice" Ruggeri's Italian trattoria, circa 1926, and today spans the world from Los Angeles to Sao Paulo and from Tokyo to Montreal. It’s a trendy place, and a popular spot among the hip and über chic crowd. As a member of the Urban Kitchen group it is a showcase of striking interior design with an artful décor. When it comes to the food, expect nothing but what Momma would cook, but know it will be served by a glamorous staff and presented in imaginative style. The kitchen takes pride in using a lot of fresh produce and seafood along with staples such as risotto and pasta. Appetizers are a mix of Mediterranean delights, which include calamari, prosciutto and other antipasti dishes.
