For heaps and mounds of finger food, old-fashioned desserts and, of course, a full bar, this hipster South Beach diner is it. Big Pink Restaurant is one of our 2012 | Top 10 Miami/South Florida Late Night Restaurants |

Bigger is obviously considered better at this tongue-in-cheek take on the all-American diner. Big Pink bursts with everything-but-the-kitchen-sink salads, overstuffed sandwiches, comfort food entrées, and satisfying burgers (especially the double-decker Pink Daddy Mack, a Big Mac on steroids, with dead-ringer pink sauce), plus fries, onion rings, and corn dogs by the bucket. The daily-changing TV Dinner, served in a six-compartment steel tray, is always worth checking out. And though dessert dominatrix Hedy Goldsmith has moved on, her signature sweets (upgraded comfort food like warm chocolate pudding cake with amarini cherries) remain. In terms of ambience, a colossal TV, featuring sports programming, dominates this echoing warehouse space, so those desiring intimate conversation are better off snagging one of the few tables on the sidewalk out front. Local nightclubbers still hang out until 5:30 a.m. on weekends, to gorge on grown-up kid food.
