Big Pink Restaurant Review: Big Pink is part of the South Beach empire run by restaurateur Myles Chefetz, who ignited the South of Fifth dining scene in the mid-90s. Bigger is considered better in a warehouse space at this take on the all-American diner with everything-but-the-kitchen-sink salads, overstuffed sandwiches (Carolina pulled pork, meatloaf wrapped in bacon, and Thanksgiving on a roll), comfort food entrées (check out the daily TV dinner), and satisfying burgers plus fries, onion rings, and corn dogs by the bucket. Enormous desserts include peach cobbler, red velvet cheesecake and fried Oreos with ice cream. Local clubbers still hang out until 5:30 a.m. on weekends to gorge on grown-up kid food.
