Bigoli is an impressive, free standing restaurant that offers the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall shoppers or locals a lovely, Italian cuisine option. A wood-burning oven produces such delights as an antipasti platter that features baccala mousse, sweet and sour Coho salmon, marinated eggplant, chutney, bay shrimp in lime juice and fresh baby scallops au gratin that can be enjoyed at either the bar or tables. Homemade ravioli stuffed with mascarpone cheese and black truffles, pan-sautéed in browned butter and served with wild sage and truffle sauce or paper thin pizza dough stuffed with stracchino cheese is certain to whet the appetite.
