 Unlike its sleek Bin 36 sibling, this downsized wine bar is intimate and cozy. Natural materials---a cork partition, zinc-topped bar---and a food bar affording a great view of the kitchen meld with wine-friendly bites that aren’t an afterthought. Expect seasonal, vino-requisite dishes, and know they'll be quite well executed. Start with noshes, like gougères with truffle honey. We also recommend the wood-fired white pizza topped with roasted garlic, wild mushrooms and pecorino cheese; the burger, served with giardiniera; and the butter-poached halibut with bacon “dust” and potato gnocchi. A good array of snacks (think tempura green beans) and cheese flights is available.
