Bistango Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: The Atrium Building provides a picturesque setting for this modern bistro’s contemporary food, as well as the revolving art displays. The completely redesigned space has added sleek touches like a centrally located 360 degree bar and an earth-toned color scheme that accentuates its already strong metropolitan vibe, making it an ideal oasis in the midst of the Irvine business scene.

Food & Drinks: Executive chef Javier Montoya's New American cuisine smartly pushes convention through a seasonally changing menu built on notable composition and well-balanced flavor profiles. Start with the tuna tartare or the comforting garlic soup. As for a main course, order the Wagyu beef ravioli with black truffle and onion marmalade, a fish dish such as the Pacific swordfish with lemon risotto and Mediterranean-style relish, or one of several cuts of steaks. Lunchtime possibilities are highlighted by the two-course prix-fixe menu --- apropos for busy business types. The wine list includes more than 500 labels, and there’s an extensive by-the-glass selection. Nightly entertainment and intriguing small plates in the bar keep the good times going.
