Step inside this fava bean-green storefront and you’ll find chef-owner Michael O'Halloran waging a quiet, one-man revolution to deliver farm-fresh cuisine with a stylish, creative touch. He presents a weekly changing menu that might include green lentil and chestnut soup with foie gras ganache or pan-roasted bone-in wild boar with sweet-and-sour orange pomegranate glaze. Try the cheese plate, served with a honeycomb and pistachio brittle, especially if you’re lucky enough to taste the lemony goat cheese by California-based Humboldt Fog. A chocolate malted pot de crème is simply satisfying. Against a minimalist backdrop, this little BYOB impresses and the $35 five-course tasting menu is a good way to get acquainted.
