Bistrot Margot Restaurant Review: Chicago certainly is flush with bistros. Unfortunately, we have mixed feelings about this one. The atmosphere is pure Parisian, but the food doesn’t always feel (or taste, for that matter) authentic. However, all the standbys are here: French onion soup, classic coq au vin, a duo of duck and steak frites. We've enjoyed the garlicky-good escargots as well as the pork tenderloin with a wild mushroom sauce. For dessert, profiteroles are solid. |
