THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Blue Point Oyster Bar Restaurant Review:

The Randolph Street Market District (so called although most of the markets have left) is awash with restaurants. Some are good, some are very good. This one falls somewhere between those culinary goal posts. There's no question that this spacious 200-seat seafood house deals with the freshest of fish, but there is nothing that grabs us hook, line and sinker. Yes, we have enjoyed the clam chowder, the crab cakes and the monkfish special, but where is the hook that will drag us back? On top of that, the prices will empty your boat in a tidy fashion. It is reasonably close to the United Center, so if the Bulls are running this is a possibility. As for the service, disinterested would be the right word.
