Blue Ribbon Grill Restaurant Review: Eddie Smyke and his business partner Artie Brown use a team of cooks to maintain Blue Ribbon Grill’s well-established traditions, including the offering of a three-inch-thick slab of meatloaf. The house burger is a ten-ounce monster that we like paired with bacon and blue cheese. Bison, turkey and veggie burgers are also available. Homemade soups taste fine on cold days, and large salads are nicely composed. Salmon and crab cake Benedicts are among brunch dishes. For dessert, the red velvet ice cream cake is a winner, and the portion is plenty to share. While beer is a popular quaff at this establishment, the wine list has small prices on its side. We recommend dining early or late to avoid a wait. Waitstaff is super friendly. |
