Blueprint Cafe Restaurant Review: The view of the river is striking, so ask for seating on the balcony, though they do give each table a pair of mini binoculars. At night, the vistas are made even more spectacular thanks to the floodlit Tower Bridge. Chef Mark Jarvis (formerly of Texture) maintains the kitchen’s emphasis on seasonal ingredients, British where possible. Start with confit salmon with beetroot, horseradish and cucumber, then move on to wild bream with fennel salad and romesco sauce, or the every-present Hereford steaks. Desserts tend toward the traditional but are none the worse for it: burnt caramel cream with shortbread and marinated cherry and anise giving it a little kick, or go for the good British cheese selection. Set 2-course lunch £15, 3 courses £20; set 2-course dinner £18, 3 courses £23.
