Bob's Diner Restaurant Review: One of the original silver and red 1950's diners, moored in Roxborough, Bob's will have you singing Golden Oldies by the time you leave. It's the same old railroad car, with vinyl booths on one side and stools that spin at the long counter. The chatty waitresses serve breakfast all day (if you have a taste for Philadelphia scrapple, this is the spot) and keep your coffee cup filled, too. Of course, there are the giant sandwiches, burgers and fries, hot platters, Greek or chef salads, and puddings and pies displayed in the dessert case at the front. Waxing nostalgic seems to come with the territory. |
