THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bodega de Cordova Restaurant Review:
Proprietor Kenny Cordova toiled in the music industry for a couple of decades before combining his ancestry (a Spanish grandfather) and love of wine to open this intimate neighborhood wine bar. It's a casual and friendly spot with nearly two dozen wines---all from Spain---and well-paired small bites available. Cordova's wines and noshes change weekly, but look for bottles from lesser known regions like Jumilla and even Madrid and snacks from olives and cold cuts to cheeses and roasted dates. If you prefer beer to wine, Cordova has a few of those, too, all European, though not always Spanish. Grab a seat at the wood bar, and make use of the brass hooks to hang up your purse, coat or umbrella, or try one of the simple wooden benches---former church pews---and small picnic tables across from the bar.
