| Vintage Bogey film posters cover the walls of this large, bustling grill on Glenwood South, and a screen in one alcove continuously plays his best-loved movies, "Casablanca” and “The Big Sleep.” A casual hangout with a lively bar scene, Bogart’s serves consistently well prepared food. Familiar American favorites dot the dinner menu: chicken potpie, meatloaf, and a signature mac ‘n’ cheese. At lunch, sandwiches, soups and salads are popular---try the ample burger, the Texas BLT, or Cobb salad featuring the grill’s rotisserie chicken. Save room for a sinful butterscotch brownie topped with coffee ice cream and rum caramel sauce. Bogart’s also instituted a “hard luck lunch” costing less than six dollars. |
