| There are no water views at Bonefish Grill, but the décor is decidedly aquatic and the menu is swimming in appealing seafood offerings. Part of an upscale chain, the eatery has a savvy menu with crowd-pleasing preparations such as Maryland crab cake and crispy calamari, and engaging specials and sauté dishes such as pistachio Parmesan-crusted rainbow trout and grouper piccata. But the kitchen really shines with simple grilled fish such as Icelandic Arctic char, ahi or Chilean sea bass cooked over a wood-burning grill and served with the diner's choice of warm mango salsa, Mediterranean, Pan Asian or lemon butter sauces. The wine list is appropriate for this kind of restaurant with offerings in both reds and whites that are fairly priced and carefully matched to the fare. The bar offers a lively scene with lots of TVs tuned into sporting events. But the real stars here are the jazzy, modern drinks, the best of which is a blueberry mojito. |
