You can order seafood broiled or baked, but fried is the top choice if you can spare the calories. It can get very busy at lunchtime, so go early or late to avoid the crowds. This is simple dining --- paper plates, plastic forks and straightforward seafood. You start by ordering from a cashier, then someone will seat you and bring your food. There's shrimp, clams, oysters, scallops and more. You can make a meal of the velvety New England clam chowder, loaded with chewy clams and smoky bacon, or the rich, creamy lobster bisque. We recommend the fried New England oyster roll, fried whole-belly Ipswich clams, and the fried fish sliders. |
