THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bouchon Restaurant Review:

This charming French bistro looks as if it’s traveled to trendy Melrose Avenue direct from Lyons, France, right down to the antique globe light fixtures and the Dijon-yellow walls covered with old equestrian photos. (Bouchon translates both as a Lyons-style bistro where grooms and coachmen used to gather and as the brush used for grooming horses.) The service in this atmospheric hangout is leisurely, the bistro fare down-to-earth. Starters include escargot, lusty onion soup and french fries served with peppercorn sauce. You’ll also find various country-style sausages and such traditional entrées as rabbit ragout, roast leg of lamb and brandade with sautéed garlic shrimp. You’re invited to linger awhile with a glass of port and an after-dinner cheese and fruit plate.
