THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Boulevard Bistro Restaurant Review: This bistro is easy to miss, hiding behind trees and umbrellas at a busy intersection, but the inside is cool and cheery. The menu changes from time to time, and the new items are always a little different from the Florida standard. Appetizers include calamari (almost a Florida staple), shrimp, mussels, vegetables and oyster stew. Even salads are inventive, including blackened salmon. Yucatan chicken skewers are served with a mango relish and cilantro drizzle. Sandwiches are less exciting but substantial, but hopefully the day's menu will include the French dip of roasted sirloin, sliced thin on grilled Cuban bread. Entrées include breast of chicken stuffed with bacon and manchego cheese topped with a wild mushroom sauce; black ‘n' blue tuna, seared rare, served with a sesame dressing; and "garlic-stabbed" New York strip steak with onion rings and parsley garlic potatoes. Often, Sunday's menu will feature a one-quarter-pound Maine lobster special.
