Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin' BBQ Restaurant Review: Bounty Hunter is a barbecue restaurant that’s serious about wine. There are more than 40 wines by the glass and 500 bottles from around the world, including rare and large format collections. Food-wise, meat is the specialty --- and bounty-full it is: juicy, flavorful beer-can chicken; St. Louis-style smoked pork ribs; Kobe beef burgers with Vermont cheddar. A sampler platter comes replete with ample ribs, pulled pork, brisket and coleslaw. Choose a sauce, from sweet to smoky, to complement the meats. Hearty sides include jalapeño cornbread, baked macaroni and cheese and house-made half-sour pickles. Cheeseburger Wednesdays feature flights of Napa Valley red wines to go with Kobe burgers topped with Cabot cheddar on fresh-baked buns. Save room for the house-made banana bread pudding served with whipped cream.
