Brasserie Restaurant Review: A venture of restaurant enterprise R2M, Brasserie has an interior that mimics a posh New York café; however, the menu is mostly reminiscent of a Parisian brasserie. The steak tartare with a subtle hint of mustard and wasabi, with chopped onions, capers and parsley, is a distinguished version of the classic dish. The attractively plated tri-color “saumon marine blinis” presents a lightly dressed green salad of dill, parsley, cilantro, tarragon and basil on a layer of thinly sliced pink gravlax atop a yellow potato pancake. Complete the meal with a glass of wine from the comprehensive wine list, with a selection of French, Spanish, German and Israeli wines, or try one of the classic cocktails. End the meal with an enticing dessert --- you can't go wrong with one of the fruit tarts or the crêpes Suzette. Open 24 hours a day, Brasserie is a place to experience the heartbeat of the city. Service is professional.
