THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Brats Brothers Restaurant Review:

The beloved hot dog goes global at Brats Brothers on Ventura Boulevard, which sports a communal table, bar, and fanciful sausage-inspired chandelier. In addition to standard German and Polish sausages, customers can choose from a wide array of exotic dogs: Swiss (veal), Aussie (ostrich and pistachio), New Zealand (lamb), Austrian (venison) and Wild West (buffalo) versions. They’re all handmade, grilled and served on a hard roll. Solid sides include a Swiss cheese-laced spätzle, golf ball-size tater tots and tangy red cabbage. You can even find a wienerschnitzel on the menu. About a dozen German and Belgian beers are on tap, plus a number of domestic and international craft beers by the bottle are available. And for dessert there’s apple strudel, of course.
