 Brett Favre's Steak House Restaurant Review: Brett Favre, a three-time NFL MVP who led the Green Bay Packers to victory in Super Bowl XXXI, also is a winner at this popular steakhouse filled with his football memorabilia. The menu's unusual blend of Northern and Southern cuisine (Favre was born in Mississippi) may seem like a peculiar juxtaposition for a steakhouse, but the chefs pull it off. Order the jambalaya with rice, shrimp, chicken and andouille sausage (it's based on a family recipe) or baby-back ribs with Brett's secret barbecue sauce. The home team might prefer options like plump brats and hearty steak sandwiches. Prime rib lovers will have no problem downing the 16-ounce Rookie, but will they be up for the 20-ounce Brett's Cut? The wine list has an extensive selection of reds as well as sparkling wines and Champagnes. On your way out, pick up a souvenir from the gift shop for the folks back home. |
