| Located in a Victorian townhouse in the heart of the entertainment district, Brewer’s Art succeeds equally as an elegant fine dining restaurant and as a funky mecca for Belgian beer enthusiasts. From hearty continental bistro fare (steak frites) to imaginative chef's creations (grilled Texas quail with chestnut-foie gras “stuffing”), the seasonal menu is full of standouts. Such fare is a good fit for this brewpub’s own Belgian-style beers, from the Abbey-style dubbel, aptly named Resurrection, to the dark Proletary ale. Throw in a surprisingly shrewd wine list and an opulent dining room replete with old-world intrigue, and you have all the makings of a nice evening out. |
