The Brewer's Art Restaurant Review: Located in a Victorian townhouse in the heart of the entertainment district, Brewer’s Art succeeds equally as an elegant fine dining restaurant and a funky mecca for Belgian beer enthusiasts. From hearty continental bistro fare (steak frites) to imaginative chef's creations (pork cheek sauerbraten), the seasonal menu is full of standouts. Such food is a good fit for this brewpub’s own Belgian-style beers, from the Abbey-style dubbel, aptly named Resurrection, to the dark Proletary ale. Throw in a surprisingly shrewd wine list and an opulent dining room replete with old-world intrigue and you have all the makings of a nice evening out.
