The Brickery's simple dishes are prepared with care, such as the appetizer chicken tenders and an array of fresh salads with house-made dressings (the exception is the light ranch dressing from local producer Naturally Fresh). Homemade soups are first-rate, while sandwiches include a "Caesar" burger that piles Caesar salad atop a burger, hickory chicken and a crunchy BLT. Luchen kugel, a noodle casserole with raisins, makes a good side with the beef brisket plate. Buttermilk fried chicken is practically the restaurant's signature dish so fine dining this is not, nor is it meant to be, but your tab at the end of the meal won’t look like it either. For dessert, try the homemade cobbler, although other choices running through the Southern dessert canon could also tempt. The wine list ranges around the world offering mostly familiar brands.
