Dining room at The Bristol, Boston, MAWhat passes for casual at the Four Seasons strikes us as plenty posh. You'll feel like a power player among the plush couches, mahogany tables, tuxedoed waitstaff and live piano music of The Bristol, which combine to create a clubby atmosphere equally suited to a business lunch or clandestine nightcap. The menu, too, is more luxe than laid-back: brunch-time waffles are topped with bananas Foster; the addition of both béarnaise and brandy cream enrich surf ‘n’ turf beyond all reason; and the cheeseburger is the sumptuous sum of specialty ingredients. In addition, afternoon tea service is a mini-institution, as is the Viennese dessert buffet on Friday and Saturday nights.
