Dining room at The Bristol, Boston, MAThe Bristol features everything from soups and salads to steak frites and the famous Bristol burger. Power players dine center stage in a room featuring plush couches and mahogany tables, and with tuxedoed waitstaff and live piano music. The menu, too, takes a luxe approach to casual fare. For breakfast, you will find croissant french toast; lunchtime brings meatloaf with truffle mashed potatoes; dinner goes all out with a grilled New York strip. The aforementioned Bristol burger is the dish to target: an enormous, juicy patty is topped with aged Vermont cheddar and homemade pickles, and served with a side of crispy truffle french fries. Service is professional and especially shines at the afternoon tea, when scones and tea sandwiches pair up with an extensive variety of uniquely flavored teas (think ginger lemon, crimson berry and black raspberry).
