In a locals-friendly hotel-casino such as Boulder Station, The Broiler is as fancy a restaurant as you can find. Brick facades and dark woods create a warm ambience. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that the service is generally very good. The massive salad bar keeps frequent diners coming back. Included with each main course, the all-you-can-eat offerings include an assortment of greens, fresh fruit, soups and salads. For the Sunday Champagne brunch, king crab legs and shrimp are added, as well as a carving station and sublime cooked-to-order potato pancakes. For dinner, we like the oysters Rockefeller and the lobster bisque with chunks of lobster baked in puffed pastry. Prime rib and shrimp scampi in lemon-white wine-butter sauce are favorites, as is the filet mignon and king crab legs combo. Tiramisu and crème brûlée are among popular sweet temptations.
