Great Wine List* Click here for rating key
Chef Joe Mercuri, with his partner and wife Desiree Draca, has created a sophisticated concept in Montreal’s exclusive downtown scene. The ultra-modern minimalist décor gives a sense of intimacy while preserving an airy atmosphere. The inventive fare includes seared foie gras with passion fruit, pistachios, ginger and black sesame seeds to start. Follow with grilled yellowfin with artichokes and a piquillo pepper ragoût, barley and a shiraz reduction. The oxtail-Asiago ravioli is served with a Vidalia onion purée and a sweet carrot emulsion. From the dessert menu, try the "fritter"---white chocolate cardamom cream with a tamarind emulsion and yogurt sorbet served on the side---or the apple pie panna cotta with raspberry beer sorbet. The wine list is carefully constructed with new- and old-world selections. Service is professional and friendly.
