| Bruegger's introduced the first decent bagel to the Twin Cities and we are ever-grateful, coming back for fresh, chewy poppy seed, garlic, blueberry and sun-dried tomato bagels. For a breakfast sandwich that is far superior to most fast food offerings, we like the “Western,” which comes with egg, bacon, roasted red peppers, red onions and chipotle sauce. Unfortunately, the coffee at Bruegger's isn't as good as we want it to be, but many locations remedy this shortcoming by sharing a wall with local coffee spot Caribou Coffee. Since it created its first kettle-boiled and stone-hearth-baked bagel, it has expanded its repertoire adding respectable soups and signature sandwiches. |
