The Buckhorn Steak & Roadhouse Restaurant Review

: Those looking for a quality steak-and-potatoes meal in a quirky setting will find it at this infamous roadhouse. Housed in a nineteenth-century hotel, the historic restaurant is a local favorite that launched a chain of casual eateries with the same name. Diners come here to indulge their inner carnivore; the meat-centered menu features steakhouse favorites such as prime rib, filet mignon, ribs and rack of lamb, as well as salmon and chicken for those watching their waistlines, and buffalo and pan-seared elk for wilder tastes. But the real focus is on sirloin, whether it be thick-cut with port wine cherry sauce, strung on a stick with onions and peppers, or encrusted with peppercorns and dipped in bourbon butter.
