| This neighborhood pub has a European flair with its cramped interior, dark wood accents and international beer selection. But its menu, with burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and fries, makes it decidedly American. The menu may be simple, but it's a notch above traditional pub food. Not surprisingly, burgers are the way to go. The bacon cheeseburger, made from Niman Ranch meat, is juicy and flavorful, complemented by a fluffy and slightly sweet bun. Several vegetarian options are available, including a veggie burger, smoked tofu burger and portobello burger. Grab an outdoor table; the location near other restaurants, bars, art galleries and a nightclub make it a perfect spot for people-watching. |
